Many water truck systems run on air. Pneumatic actuators open spray valves and butterfly valves, move cannons and drive controls, using the compressed air already on the truck. That means the air fittings, tubing and solenoid valves behind the panel need to be leak free and reliable, because a small air leak can stop a whole system from working.
