Diaphragm Shutoff Valve.

Our diaphragm shutoff valve is ideal for medium flow applications such as side sprays, Road washing sprays and pressurised dribble bars.

Valve Operation.

This valve operates opposite to a butterfly valve due to the use of a convex diaphragm. Air pressure maintained this valve in a closed position. Removing the air pressure and applying at least 20PSI of water pressure will lift the diaphragm allowing water to flow. The convex diaphragm will maintain the valve in a closed position even when there is no air pressure present. This feature will stop water from leaking through the valve when the truck is off, and air pressure is lost.
