The advantages of the E360XD Water Cannon

Proportional Speed Control The E360XD comes standard with proportional speed control. This provides unmatched control by varying the speed of movement based on how far the joystick is pushed.

Multivolt The X360XD is designed to operate on a wide voltage range of 12-28 Volt. The system also has over and under-voltage protection and reverse polarity protection.

Integrated Valve Control Support for controlling a butterfly valve is built-in. The cannon has a Hershman plug that connects directly to a Namur valve that will mount directly to a butterfly valve actuator. Alternatively, you can set the system to drive an electric butterfly valve which is great for applications where air is unavailable.

Easy Installation The E360XD is provided as a plug-and-play kit. Mount the cannon to a flange, mount the joystick in the cab and connect the loom between.

Long, trouble-free life Our innovative swivel design uses low friction rotary seals that last for years and a direct meshing rotary drive that is lifetime lubricated. Direct drive swivels will provide years of trouble-free operation.

Adjustable Limit Positions Easily customise the travel range of the X360XD to suit your applications. You can adjust travel limits in 45-degree increments.

Introducing STATUS, 

STATUS provides real-time information on the status of the cannon to the operator via a multicoloured LED ring light located around the power switch on the joystick.

STATUS lets you know when the cannon is Active or in Standby, When the water is on or off,  when the cannon has reached a limit and can also provide diagnostic information.

Proportional speed control

This is a game-changer and so simple to use. The further you move the joystick, the faster the cannon moves. Most cannons on the market are either flat out or stopped. The beauty of proportional speed control is its intuitiveness. Proportional speed control also reduces wear and tear. It's a win-win all around.

We've beefed up our drive mechanism.

A common problem that we identified during our survey of current models was the worm wheel (gear) stripping on competitor's water cannons. We have overcome this problem by using superior materials and significantly increased the size of our worm gear and worm wheel, so load is spread over a larger area. We also use a bronze worm and silicon grease to reduce any abrasive effect on the anodised surface. Finally, we significantly reduced the backlash to reduce vibration and rough terrain, creating a hammer effect on the gearing.

IP69K limit sensors and easy limit adjustment.

Limit sensors are one of the only electrical components exposed to the environment and are a common point of failure on other systems on the market. Our sensors are IP69K, which is about as waterproof as any electrical component can be. Our sensor does not need any adjustment to change the limit range. The limit bolts set the limit range, and the limit sensor detects the metallic bolt without making contact. This is ideal for wet and muddy environments.

Intelligent control system

The brains of the system have been designed and are manufactured in Australia. Featuring 32Bit architecture and robotic grade components, we have been able to pack in proportional speed control, CAN Bus wired communication and, wireless joystick control. Our smartphone app launches in early 2022 and gives you the ability to control the cannon from the palm of your hand. 

On top of that, we can make custom software for applications like washdown bays and provide CAN-BUS communication protocols so you can integrate the cannon as part of a larger system.
